What is AdSignal?

AdSignal is an online software as a service platform that targets car dealers or anyone who is buying a car.

What can I do with AdSignal?

With AdSignal you can monitor over 40 different classifieds websites for new car ads. First you choose which classifieds website you want to monitor for new ads. Secondly, for that particular website, you enter your filters. Then our software monitors ads on that websites for you. When our software spots a car that matches any of your filters, you immediately receive a push notification on your smartphone.

What are the benefits of using AdSignal?

First benefit is that you don't have spend any more of your valuable time sitting in front of the computer browsing classifieds websites. You can automate everything with our software.
Second benefit is that you only receive valuable information. You set the filters and criteria by yourself. If a car ad matches the filter's criteria you will receive a push notification in 30-60 seconds after an ad has been published or moved to the top of the search results.
Third benefit is that you can receive a push notification to your smartphone 30 seconds after a new car ad gets published on classifieds website. That means you get to know about EVERY good deal 30 second after it appears on classifieds website. That is gives you huge edge over the competition. 30 seconds goes for PRO and ENTERPRISE plans. For SMALL plan it's 60 seconds.

What is Filter?

For every classifieds website you want to monitor, you can define filters. A Filter is basically a set of criteria that you define. For each filter you can define properties like make, model, fuel, year and price. If a car ad matches these criteria you will immediately receive a push notification with the link to that particular ad and it's basic information.

What if you don't support classifieds website that I'm using?

If you we don't support classifieds website that you're using, just request it and we will have it very soon.

Is AdSignal available in my country?

At this moment, AdSignal is available for customers from any country in the world. But if you are not from Europe you should contact us for more details regarding the pricing.

How long after an ad appears do I receive a push notification?

It depends on which plan are you subscribed to. With small PLAN you can expect to receive a push notification 60 seconds after an ad gets published. For PRO and ENTERPRISE plans that time is reduced to 30 seconds.

Do you only monitor newly published ads or do you monitor old ones too?

We monitor every ad that appears on the first page of the search results. Regardless of whether it's newly published or just moved to the top of the search results.

Will I receive more than notifications for the same car?

Some classifieds website have "Push to the top" option which moves an ad to the first place of the search result. We are fully aware of that. That's why you will not receive more than one push notification for the same car unless the price is changed.

Am I locked into a Plan?

No, not at all. We give you complete freedom to upgrade & downgrade your plans as you want.

Do you offer trial period?

Yes, we do. After creating an account you can use our services free of charge for 7 days. Credit card is not required for that. Also note that the number of filters you can create and the number of classifieds websites you can use during your trial period is limited.

What's your Refund Policy?

We at AdSignal offer free trial period to every new user. The reason for the trial period is to allow user to try our product and then based on that experience to decide whether they do or do not want to pay for our services. That's why the reason that you are not satisfied with our service is not valid.
Our current refund policy is that we can provide a refund on your latest charge only if you provide us with a good reason and if no more than 7 days have passed since the last charge. We will not refund previous months charges, only the most recent one.

Help my charge was declined?

AdSignal uses 2Checkout to process credit card charges, on occassions your bank may decline the charge for a number of reasons.

Card was declined

Often banks won't give us a reason as to why the card was declined, it may be possible that the charge triggered a declined or suspicious response from the bank.
You will need to call the bank to find out why they declined the charge, once they whitelist it you'll be able to retry and the payment will go through.

Insufficient Funds

If you get this type of decline then it simply means there's not enough funds in your account to facilitate the charge. You'll need to make enough funds available to proceed.

What will appear on my credit card statement?

You will see our domain

Does VAT apply for European Union customers? is required to collect VAT (Value Added Tax) for customers that reside in the EU. VAT is not charged to Business or Charity customers that provide a valid VAT registration. You may enter your VAT registration in your dashboard's settings section. Our prices do not include VAT - VAT will be added to your invoice as a separate line item.

What is AdSignal's VAT Number?

How do I validate my VAT ID?

You can validate your VAT ID under Settings section inside the Dashboard. Remember, every VAT ID will be manually checked after the submission.


What is Pushover?

Pushover is a service specialized in sending push notifications.

Is Pushover free for use?

Yes and no. Pushover offers 7-day free trial for new users, same as AdSignal. After that period, it will work only if you become paid user at AdSignal or if you buy their licence.

Why do I not hear sound from the device clients when receiving notifications?

Which mobile operating system can use Pushover on?

Pushover can be installed and used on Android, iOS and Windows operating system.

If you're testing out Pushover for the first time, you may have the Pushover device client (app) open while you wait for the message to arrive. In this scenario, you will not hear a notification alert sound and/or feel vibration and you might think something is wrong. The Pushover device clients do not play sound or vibrate when the device is unlocked and the Pushover application is open, because no notification is generated with the system; the message is received and displayed directly by the running Pushover application which you can see at the top of your message list.

However, this is not how you will typically interact with Pushover. Your device will either be in sleep mode or you will be interacting with another application when a notification arrives. To properly test Pushover, turn the device's screen off or switch to another application before sending your test messages. This will more accurately represent how you will use Pushover most often: to receive notifications while your device is not in use.

Also, ensure that your notification volume is adjusted properly. On Android and iOS, there are actually separate volume controls for notifications, ringers, alarms, and media/music. When you are using the Pushover device client and use your device's volume keys to turn the volume up, you may just be adjusting the volume for your phone ringer which does not affect the volume at which notifications play.

On iOS, open the device's main Settings app, then go to Sounds. There is a volume slider there to adjust the "Ringer and Alerts" volume. Make sure it is at a reasonable level. Also, verify that Pushover is allowed to generate sounds by going to the device's Settings app, then Notification Center, then Pushover, and ensure Sounds is enabled.

On Android, open the device's main Settings app, then go to Sound, then Volumes. Adjust the "Ringtone & notifications" volume to a reasonable level.

Once you have adjusted the notification volume properly and are not in the Pushover app, you can test receiving notifications by using our dashboard to send a notification to your device with the specified sound.

If you are not hearing sound only during certain periods of time, ensure that your Quiet Hours are not in effect, and that any Do Not Disturb functionality is not enabled on your device.

Why do I not receive instant notifications of alerts and only see them when I open the Pushover app?

[ANDORID] Disable Wi-Fi Sleep Optimization

Android has a feature that can put the Wi-Fi into a very low power mode to conserve battery power. Unfortunately this feature does not work very well in all environments, which can cause your device to go completely offline while its screen is off instead of waking up when it has new notifications pending. To disable this feature, open the system Settings app, then Wi-Fi, then press the Menu button, then Advanced, and set "Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep" to "always".

[ANDORID] Verify Data Syncing

If your Android device receives push notifications on WiFi but not while on on a mobile data network (3G/HSPA/4G/etc.), you may have "mobile data" disabled. Open the Settings app on the device, tap "Data usage", and verify that "Mobile data" is turned on. If you are not receiving push notifications on WiFi or mobile data, verify that "Background data" for your Google account (2.3+) is enabled, or that "Auto-sync data" (4.0+) is enabled.

[iPHONE] Verify App is Running in Background (Message Encryption Only)

A current limitation of iOS requires that the Pushover app is running in the background if you have Message Encryption enabled in the settings. While this does not consume any extra data or CPU in the background, it allows the app to initialize itself and wait for encrypted notifications from the system. If the app is not running (either because it has been force-closed from the app switcher, or the device has just rebooted), you will only see the badge icon on the app increase because the notification content could not be decrypted.

[iPHONE] Verify Notification Center Settings

For iOS devices, open the main Settings app on your device, then tap on Notification Center. Ensure that Pushover is listed and is not in the "Do Not Include" section at the bottom. Tap on Pushover and make sure that Alert Style is not "None", and that "Show in Notification Center" is on, and most likely you will want "Show on Lock Screen".
